Research Director, Amrita Research Center Delhi (ARCD), Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Faridabad
Dr. Amit Kumar Dinda is a distinguished physician-scientist and academic leader with over four decades of experience in medicine, pathology, and translational research. He completed his MBBS from Calcutta Medical College, MD and PhD from AIIMS, New Delhi, and went on to serve in several premier institutions including the Army Hospital (Research & Referral), Cloud Nine Hospital, and Military Hospitals across India. Currently, he serves as Research Director at Amrita Research Center, Delhi NCR.
His pioneering work spans nanomedicine, regenerative medicine, tissue engineering, biomaterials, and advanced diagnostic systems. He has led projects on nanoparticle-based drug delivery, immunodiagnostics, nano-enabled wound healing, and 3D-printed implants for reconstructive surgery, funded by agencies such as DBT and DST. His laboratory has contributed to the development of novel antiviral vaccines, injectable hydrogel systems, and nanocarriers for targeted cancer therapy.
Dr. Dinda has published extensively in high-impact journals, with notable contributions on nanocarrier-based oral formulations, immuno-fluorescence assays for cancer detection, and stem cell-derived exosome isolation techniques. He also plays a critical role in national and international regulatory science, serving as an assessor for NABL, a member of the Global Council of Regulatory Science Research (GCRSR), and India’s representative to ISO technical committees.
As a mentor, clinician, and innovator, Dr. Dinda brings together deep expertise in clinical medicine and cutting-edge biomedical research to advance ARCD’s mission of driving translational solutions for healthcare and precision medicine.
