Separation and analysis of binary mixtures of organic compoundsSeparation, preliminary investigations, determinations of saturation/ unsaturation, detection of special elements by Lassaignes test.Functional group identification, derivative preparation, determination of melting points of the derivatives.

Calculation of Rf values from thin layer chromatography (TLC) for the following mixtures

(f)Halo compound and aldehyde
