Mr. Chad Kymal 

Chad Kymal is the Chief Technology Officer and Founder of Omnex Inc., and the President of Omnex Systems, where he drives strategic innovation in quality management and digital solutions. With over four decades of experience, he is globally recognized for his pioneering contributions to quality systems, particularly in automotive, aerospace, semiconductor, and medical device industries. 

Chad began his career at General Motors and co-developed the foundational linkage between Process Flow, PFMEA, Control Plans, and Work Instructions—leading to the widely adopted Omnex PFMEA methodology and the creation of AQuA Pro software. Currently, he focuses on advancing the EwQIMS digital platform, integrating Functional Safety (ISO 26262), Cybersecurity, ASPICE, and Sustainability into holistic quality management systems. 

An active contributor to global standards, Chad has served on technical committees for ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001, ISO 26262, and SOTIF. He was also a member of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award Board of Examiners and received the 2005 ASQ Automotive Division’s “Quality Professional of the Year” award. 

Chad holds a BS in Engineering from GMI, an MS in Industrial and Operations Engineering, and an MBA from the University of Michigan, where he graduated Cum Laude. A lifelong advocate for collaborative learning and AI-driven process optimization, he continues to lead innovation through digitalization and systems thinking.
