Talk Title: How and When SHM could be Sustainable?
Prof. Stefano Gabriele is the Associate Professor of Solid and Structural Mechanics at University “Roma Tre”, Department of Architecture. Prof. Stefano was the SEAS William Pierson Field Visiting Professor at School of Engineering, Princeton University from April/May 2017. He was also the Visiting Research Scholar at Amrita University, Kerala, India April 2018. Spring 2018 and 2019, he was the visiting Professor at Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Princeton University. He was the Co-chair of the Working Group 5 – Continuous Shells, of the International Association for Shells and Spatial Structures (IASS). He was also the Co-founder of the Italian Association for the studies on Shells and Spatial Structures. He was the Co-chair of the Italian Workshop on Shell and Spatial Structures (IWSS).
Prof. Stefano Gabriele’s main research interests are inverse problems, FE model updating, damage identification, Shape optimization of Continuum Shells.
