Building on the success of its previous editions, this year’s expo promises an even more enriching experience, held in celebration of National Science Day. Our vision is to inspire participation from across the nation, creating a vibrant space where creativity, curiosity, and innovation come together. We welcome students from every corner of India to showcase their ideas and talents. PRAKALP is more than just an event—it is a platform that nurtures scientific thinking, encourages creativity, and fosters collaboration among young minds.

Important Dates

Stage 1 – Project Proposal Submission (Deadline: 03/04/2026)
  • Teams are required to submit their project proposals based on the specified themes. Each submission must include a project abstract along with relevant simulation or prototype images.
  • This stage focuses on evaluating the innovation, clarity, and feasibility of the proposed idea.

Stage 2 – Evaluation & In-Person Presentation (10/04/2026)
  • Shortlisted teams will be invited to present their projects in person at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Bengaluru Campus.
  • This stage involves evaluation based on technical implementation, innovation, feasibility, and real-world impact, along with a live presentation and demonstration of the project or prototype.


Guidelines

Eligibility
  • The event is open to students for both U.G and P.G across various universities/colleges.
  • The letter of consent from the Head of the Department should be provided during the submission.
Team Composition
  • Each project team is limited to a maximum of five members.
  • There should be only one registration from one team.
  • Each participant should register in 1 team only.
Registration
  • Registration is free of cost in all the stages of the competition
Project Evaluation
  • Shortlisted teams must be prepared for in-person presentations, the offline evaluation is based on the presentation skills and demonstrations of the proposed model.
  • Physical evaluation of prototypes or simulations, assessing Project quality & technical implementation, social relevance, real-world impact, innovation.
Submission Guidelines
  • All project abstracts must be submitted while registering.
  • Submissions should include a project title and the corresponding file as mentioned.
Code of Conduct
  • Participants are expected to maintain a high standard of professional and ethical behavior     throughout the event.
  • Duplicity in the project submissions or any form of academic dishonesty will result in     disqualification.
  • Respect for the venue and its facilities is crucial; any damage caused will be the responsibility of     the individual/team.
  • The judges decision are final.
Event Logistics
  • Participants must comply with the schedule and logistical arrangements communicated by the organizing committee.
  • The teams must arrange their own transport.
Disqualification
  • Any breach of rules, unethical conduct, or violation of the event’s guidelines may result in   disqualification. By registering in this competition, I acknowledge and agree that my registration   details like name, email & phone number will be shared with the competition organizers.
