The School of Social & Behavioral Sciences, Faridabad is organizing the seventh session of its webinar series, “Future Trends in Social & Data Sciences for Public Policy,” scheduled for Thursday, July 17th, from 4:00 to 5:30 PM IST.

This session will focus on the theme: Perspectives on Gender and Artificial Intelligence, and will feature expert panelists

The present Webinar is being jointly hosted by SODASP and the Women for Ethical AI (W4EAI) South Asia Chapter, UNESCO. The webinar will revolve around the following two overarching questions:

  • How are AI-enabled, data-driven systems shaping governance, social protection and accountability, and what gendered and intersectional implications emerge across these contexts?
  • What frameworks, evidence, and ethical approaches can guide the design, development, and deployment of AI to ensure transparency, inclusiveness, and justice—particularly in public and policy-oriented applications in the Global South?
