Bio

Col. B.K. Mishra is an HOD and Professor in the Department of Anatomy at the School of Medicine, Faridabad.

Col (Dr) BK Mishra is an alumnus of Armed Forces Medical College, Pune. After graduating in 1984, He was commissioned in the Army Medical Corps(AMC) after which he was posted in High Altitude Area on the China border. Subsequently,  he obtained MS (Anatomy) degree in 1993 from AFMC, Pune. Thereafter, he worked in the Anatomy Dept at AFMC Subsequently, as part of the founding team, he was tasked with starting Army College of Dental Sciences, Secunderabad. Due to his good and committed endeavors in ACDS, Secunderabad, he was included as a key member in the founding team for Army College of Medical Sciences, Delhi Cantt, where he was Deputy Dean after having done a stint as Professor and Head, Dept of Anatomy at AFMC, Pune. During His tenure as Deputy Dean in ACMS, Delhi Cantt, he was sent as part  of the Indian Army Advisory Team for the start of the Nepal Army Institute of Health  Sciences, Kathmandu.  A team from Andaman and Nicobar Islands Institute of Medical Sciences was sent by the government to ACMS, Delhi Cantt and was guided by him, during his tenure as Deputy Dean in for the setting up of the institution After retiring In 2019, He worked for a short time as Professor and Head, Dept of Anatomy at Al Falah Medical College before taking on the reins at Amrita School of Medicine, Faridabad as Principal where he prepared the institution and the team for UG and subsequently PG Inspection from NMC and received approval for150 seats UG and PG in 21 subjects on the first attempt.
