Dr. Citybabu is an Assistant Professor at Amrita School of Business, Bangalore. He holds a PhD from NIT Tiruchirappalli and is a certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt professional. With a robust background in industrial engineering, he brings a wealth of practical and academic experience to his work. His career spans significant roles, including a Quality Engineer at Zero Tolerance Private Limited, a Teaching Fellow at College of Engineering Guindy, and a Facilitator at SIEMENS Lab. This diverse experience highlights his ability to bridge theoretical knowledge with real-world application. His academic prowess is evident from his Master’s in Industrial Engineering and his GATE qualification in 2020. His dedication to advancing knowledge was recognized with the Budding Researcher Award (2022-2024) from NIT Tiruchirappalli. His current research is at the forefront of the field, delving into Lean Six Sigma 4.0 & 5.0, Quality 4.0, Operational Excellence, Human Factors/Ergonomics, Resilience, and Sustainability.
