Dr. (Brig) K. R. Rathi is a distinguished medical professional with over 28 years of experience in Pathology within the Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS). His academic qualifications include MBBS, MD (Pathology), and a PhD in Histopathology, earned from premier institutions such as M.D. University Rohtak, AFMC Pune University, and PGIMER Chandigarh.
Throughout his career, he has served in leading AFMS institutions, including Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune and Army Hospital (Research & Referral), New Delhi, taking on key roles such as Resident, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor in Pathology. He also held significant leadership responsibilities, having commanded two major military hospitals, contributing extensively to medical administration.
Dr Rathi’s core areas of interest and expertise include Histopathology and Neuropathology. He has served as an examiner for MBBS, MD (Pathology), and DMLT programs and has guided numerous trainees in the field.
An accomplished academician, he was awarded the Gold Medal in MD Pathology for securing first position in Pune University. He has published several research articles and presented papers and posters at national conferences and CMEs.
