Dr. Krishna M B is a dedicated and results-driven academic professional with over 10 years of experience in teaching and research in Commerce and Management. Specialized in Finance and Management. She holds a Ph.D. in Commerce and Management, along with an MBA (Banking & Finance), M. Com (Financial Management), a Distinction in Diploma in Computer Applications (DCA), and a UGC-NET qualification. Currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Commerce and Management at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Kochi Campus, actively engaged in teaching, research, and academic development, and serving as a Doctoral Committee Member for Ph.D. scholars, providing research guidance and contributing to the evaluation of doctoral work. Additionally, function as a Member of the Board of Studies (BBA), participating in curriculum design, academic policy formulation, and program enhancement initiatives. Her research interests include Finance, Rural Development, Microfinance institutions, and Women’s Empowerment.

She has published many papers in journals and top-tier conferences, both national and international. Dr. Krishna specializes in teaching a wide range of subjects, including Financial Markets and Services, Banking and Insurance, Principles of Management, Human Resource Management, Accountancy, Entrepreneurship, and Law. She is adept at student mentoring and fostering academic excellence. She is actively involved in organizing national and international conferences, webinars, workshops, and Faculty Development Programs. She also has significant experience in guiding postgraduate and undergraduate students in projects and supporting them in publishing research papers in reputed UGC listed and Scopus-indexed journals.
