Bio

M. Lakshmi Prasanna is a Faculty Associate in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, School of Computing, at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amaravati Campus. She earned her M.Tech in Computer Science and Technology from JNTU, Kakinada, in 2019 and her B.Tech in Computer Science and Technology from JNTU, Kakinada, in 2017. Prior to joining Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, she worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at VITW, Enikepadu, Vijayawada, from September 2019 to December 2023, gaining over five years of teaching experience. She has presented her research at international conferences, and her research interests include machine learning, deep learning, data science, explainable AI, and artificial intelligence.

Currently, working on Parkinson’s disease detection using medical images, exploring deep learning models and explainable AI in healthcare.
