Bio

Dr. Sankar Natarajan is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Amrita School of Engineering, Coimbatore, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, India.

He received his Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from National Institute of Technology Puducherry in 2025. He completed his M.E. in Power Electronics and Drives from PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore in 2018 and obtained his B.E. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Thiagarajar College of Engineering, Madurai in 2013.

Prior to entering academia, Dr. Sankar Natarajan worked as a System Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services Ltd., Chennai, from 2013 to 2016. He later served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at National Engineering College, Kovilpatti from 2018 to 2020.

His research interests include Renewable-integrated Electric Vehicle Charging Systems, Power Converters, Energy Management Systems for Hybrid Energy Systems, and Optimal Sizing of Renewable Energy Resources.
