Bio

Dr. Navaneeth J., MS (Ay), is currently serving as Assistant Professor in the Department of Shalyatantra at Amrita School of Ayurveda, Amritapuri, from September 2025 onwards. Previously, he worked as Assistant Professor in the Department of Shalyatantra at Sri Raghavendra Ayurveda Medical College, Malladihalli, Chitradurga District, Karnataka, from February 2022 to September 2025. He completed his post-graduation in Shalyatantra from Sree Narayana Institute of Ayurvedic Studies and Research, Pangode, Kollam, affiliated to Kerala University of Health Sciences, in 2021, and obtained his BAMS degree from Pankajakasthuri Ayurveda Medical College and Post Graduate Centre, Kattakada, Thiruvananthapuram, in 2017. He has successfully completed the Certificate Course in Marma Chikitsa accredited by the Ayurveda Training Accreditation Board operating under RAV in August 2025

He has also undergone Training of Trainers on Entrepreneurship Development conducted by NCISM, New Delhi, in collaboration with NI-MSME, Hyderabad, and completed Basic Life Support training conducted by the Indian Institute of Emergency Medical Services in accordance with the American Heart Association curriculum.

Dr. Navaneeth J. has sound clinical experience in Ayurvedic surgical and para-surgical procedures, including fissurectomy, fistulotomy, lateral internal sphincterotomy, Ksharakarma, Agnikarma, ,Siravyadha, Leech therapy, and the IFTAK technique. He is also skilled in the conservative management of minor fractures and dislocations and proficient in the preparation of Mridu, Madhyama, and Teekshna Pratisaraneeya Kshara and Ksharasutra. His exposure to modern surgical practice through observation training at Padmavathi Medical Foundation, Kollam, where he observed a wide range of general and specialized surgeries, has enriched his integrative clinical perspective.

His academic and clinical interests include Shalyatantra Siddhanta, Marma Chikitsa, Anorectal diseases and the integration of classical Ayurvedic surgical wisdom with modern surgical principles. He also holds a keen interest in the analytical study of Ayurvedic formulations and their therapeutic applications.
