Bio

Dr. Nitesh Chauhan is an Associate Professor in the Department of Community Medicine and currently serves at the Amrita School of Medicine. He completed his MBBS from the Army College of Medical Sciences (ACMS), Delhi Cantt. (2010–2016), followed by his MD in Community Medicine from VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi (2016–2019).

Since 2010, Dr. Chauhan has gained diverse academic and clinical experience across reputed institutions, including KD Medical College and the AFMS & RC, before assuming his current academic role. His professional interests span public health, digital health systems, epidemiology, health administration, and medical education. He is also pursuing a PG Diploma in Hospital Administration, strengthening his expertise in healthcare management and quality improvement.

Dr. Chauhan has delivered a research talk on Research Design during a hands-on workshop conducted by the Department of Community Medicine, Amrita School of Medicine, contributing to capacity-building in research methodology. His work has been recognized at national forums—he received the Best Poster Award for his study on Internet Addiction and Sleep Quality Among Medical Students, presented at IPHACON.

He is certified in data analysis—Cox Proportional Hazard Model using Jamovi software by AIIMS Patna, enhancing his proficiency in advanced statistical methods. His additional professional credentials include serving as NABH POI for Digital Health Standards, GCP-PCS certification from THSTI, and ICD-10/ICD-11 coding certification from the Central Bureau of Health Intelligence (CBHI). He has also contributed as a jury member for the Family Adoption Programme Essay Competition organized jointly by IAPSM and the National Medical Commission
