Dr. Ritika Bakshi joined the Amrita School of Medicine, Faridabad, Haryana, in August 2023. She completed her MD in Community Medicine (2016–2019) from Government Medical College, Amritsar, Punjab, followed by a Senior Residency at Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi (2020–2023).
In her role as Assistant Professor , she is involved in teaching both undergraduate students and senior residents. Her responsibilities also include monitoring, supervising, and providing technical support to the department’s peripheral health centres—both rural and urban training health centres. She regularly offers hands-on training to healthcare workers, including interns, ASHAs, ANMs, and other community health staff, particularly in the monitoring and evaluation of various National Health Programmes and in conducting IEC/BCC activities aimed at enhancing community awareness and participation.
Dr. Bakshi has seven publications in recognized national and international journals and has delivered two oral and two poster presentations at national and regional conferences. She has served as a co-investigator in several State and National-level projects and contributed as a co-investigator in multiple rounds of the Delhi Covid-19 Serosurvey , including reviewing epidemiological data during 2021.
She has also contributed to the development of training modules for Covid-19 and the Tobacco Cessation Programme for the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare. She has completed certificate courses in Evidence-Based Diabetes Management , Biomedical Research , and Systematic Review . Additionally, she served as a State Trainer-of-Trainers (TOT) for the Covid-19 vaccination rollout in Delhi, conducting training sessions for healthcare workers across various training centres in New Delhi. Dr. Bakshi has attended over 15 conferences , participated in 18 workshops , and completed six training courses , reflecting her strong commitment to academic growth and capacity building.
