Bio

Subodh Kumar is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the Amrita School of Business, Kochi, and a Doctoral Fellow at the Goa Institute of Management, India. His research focuses on consumer psychology and buying behavior, with a particular interest in the dynamics of the sharing economy. Prior to joining academia, he spent over a decade in the commercial vehicle industry, working with Tata Motors, Ashok Leyland, and Tube Investments of India in various managerial roles. Drawing on his extensive industry experience, he brings a nuanced, practice-oriented perspective to his academic work. He holds an MBA from the Army Institute of Management, Kolkata, and a bachelor’s degree in Sociology.
