Bio

Dr. Twishi Shrimali is a medical microbiologist with MBBS and MD (Microbiology) from AIIMS Jodhpur, followed by a Fellowship in Pediatric Infectious Diseases from Chacha Nehru Bal Chikitsalaya, New Delhi. She has worked extensively across bacteriology, mycology, virology, parasitology, serology, molecular diagnostics, and antimicrobial stewardship.

She has served as Senior Resident at AIIMS Jodhpur, Pediatric Infectious Diseases Fellow at CNBC, and currently works as Assistant Professor & Consultant in Microbiology at Amrita Hospital, Faridabad. Her experience spans clinical diagnostics, pediatric infections, emerging fungal pathogens, laboratory quality systems, outbreak investigation, infection prevention and control, and clinical–microbiological research.

She has multiple indexed publications (PubMed/Scopus), research presentations, awards, and national/international conference participation. She is an active member of IAMM, ISMM, ASM, ESCMID, ESPID, and ESCMID’s ESGAP.
