Dr. Veena Raghunathan is a Senior Consultant and Assistant Professor in Pediatric Intensive Care and Pediatric Respiratory Medicine at Amrita Hospital, Faridabad. She completed her MBBS from Seth GS Medical College and KEM Hospital and took her MD in Pediatrics from Grant Medical College and Sir JJ Group of Hospitals, Mumbai.
She is a National Board–certified pediatric intensivist and has undergone training in pediatric intensive care from prestigious institutions including Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi, and BJ Wadia Children’s Hospital, Mumbai. She also holds a European diploma in pediatric respiratory medicine.
Dr. Veena played a key role in establishing the pediatric ICU services at Amrita Hospital, Faridabad, offering advanced therapies including ECMO, CRRT, HFOV, and bronchoscopy. She has over two decades of experience managing critically ill children with complex medical and surgical conditions.
She is an accredited instructor for IAP-ALS, BLS, and PFCCS, and actively trains students. Dr. Veena has numerous publications in national and international indexed journals and serves as a reviewer for reputed journals including Indian Paediatrics and the Indian Journal of Critical Care Medicine.
Her clinical interests include pediatric respiratory care, bronchoscopy, acute care nephrology, transplant critical care, infection, and trauma management. She is deeply passionate about medical education, quality improvement, and advancing pediatric critical care in India.
