Bio

Yamuna Sandrine Bonin currently serves as Field Coordinator at Center for Gender Equality and Women Empowerment.

Originally from France, Yamuna Sandrine has been in India with Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham since 2009. She completed her MBA in Euromed Management, with a special recognition from Global Compact from United Nations for her involvement in sustainable development. Inspired by Amma’s values and work, she came to India to do humanitarian activities. She is now a field coordinator in North India for skill development for women empowerment. She is presently a PhD Student at the Center for Gender Equality and Women Empowerment at Amrita working on the area of climate change.
