Job description

  • Curriculum Development & Delivery Create content, record videos and deliver topics for the Amrita Online Soft Skills curriculum, adhering to quality standards.

  • Maintain awareness of industry trends impacting online students and adapt training strategies accordingly.

  • Update the Soft Skills curriculum and strategy based on student and corporate needs analysis.

  • Serve as faculty for English courses like Communicative English and Professional Communication.

  • Record and deliver skill-based courses for Amrita Online degree, diploma and certificate programs.

  • Lead Faculty Training Programs as required. Student Engagement & Training Conduct weekly live interactions with UG/PG students on soft skills topics, scheduled with the Program Head.

  • Train and interact with students in groups or individually, including career guidance workshops and personalized development programs.

  • Connect with students regularly to sustain their preparation and readiness for opportunities.

  • Mentor and motivate students to complete programs with job offers.

  • Career Support & Employability Conduct employability assessments, learner workshops and interventions to boost overall employability.

  • Develop comprehensive student profiles using academic, skills and career aspiration data; categorize for targeted job opportunities.

  • Provide career counseling, resume critiques, interview preparation, and other support sessions.

  • Reporting & Administration Create dashboards to track training activities; maintain accurate records and reports.

  • Manage student training database.

  • Develop and distribute monthly/weekly newsletters for the Amrita Online program Analyze student data and communicate weekly updates to Amrita Online management.

  • Collaborate regularly with departments to align with student expectations.
