1. She/he will impart training to students of Amrita School of Engineering/Amrita School of Business/ASPS in respect of the following:

a. Campus to Corporate transition

b. Communication skills

• Impact of communication in personal and professional life


• Different aspects of communication

c. Presentation skills

• Non Verbal aspects of communication


• Building Self confidence


• Effectively engaging the audience d. Group Discussion


• Interpersonal skills


• Listening skills


• Assertiveness skills


• Initiative and leadership

e. Self awareness and self presentation

• SWOT analysis


• Giving and receiving feedback about self.

f. Counseling and mentoring activities for overall development of the student and reference

g. Helping the students to prepare industry relevant resumes

h. Conducting different types of special training for supporting the student’s placement

i. Critical & Creative thinking

j. Updating in the syllabus other areas that may be considered necessary to enhance the skills of the students.

2. She/he is to impart training to students of other constituent schools of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham on the above mentioned areas as and when directed by her/his superiors, if need be.

3. She/he is to obtain industry feedback through General Manager-Career Competency Development, from time to time and accordingly review / modify the current training & development programme, related to her/his areas of training.

4. Be updated with different university related accreditation requirements coming under the purview of the CIR learning and development activities.
