Job Description

  • Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position focused on the development of advanced control and energy management strategies for hybrid Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations integrated with renewable energy sources and energy storage systems.

  • The project emphasizes on efficient energy flow coordination, enabling bidirectional energy exchange (V2G), demand response, and grid-interactive functionalities under dynamic operating conditions.

  • This research aligns with global efforts towards low-carbon transportation and resilient smart grid systems, and offers opportunities for high-impact publications, research collaborations, and potential technology transfer. 

Duration 2 years (subject to satisfactory periodic performance assessment).
Eligibility

  • Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in microgrids, EV charging, power electronic control, or renewable energy.

  • Prior research experience in power electronics, EV charging infrastructure, renewable energy systems, and microgrids is essential. Strong quantitative research skills and a proven track record of scholarly publications are required.
