The volunteers of Mathrubhumi SEED Club and the cultural forum of the School of Arts and Sciences, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Kochi campus, visited the tribal village near Thattekad under the guidance of Dr. U. Krishnakumar and faculty members on September 4, 2016. The volunteers presented gifts to the tribal folk and paid respects to their chief (Mooppan) and shared food with them. Sri. Lalu, Sri. Narayanan and few others coordinated the visit along with the members of the Mata Amritanandamayi Satsang Samithi of Kothamangalam.
