Faridabad Campus Participates in World Cleanup Day 2025 with Large-Scale Drive

On the occasion of World Cleanup Day 2025, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Faridabad along with other Mata Amritanandamayi Math ashrams and Amrita University campuses, organized a large-scale cleanliness drive. The event saw the enthusiastic participation of over 600 students and faculty members from the hospital and associated colleges. The event was also in association ith Amma’s 72nd Birthday celebration – Amritavarsham 72 to be held at Amritapuri, Kerala on September 27th 2025.

The drive took place along Mata Amritanandamayi Marg, where staff, students, and college faculty worked together with a shared goal of promoting hygiene, environmental awareness, and community responsibility. The initiative was guided and coordinated under the presence and inspiration of Br. Swaroopamrita and Br. Harshamrita Chaitanya Swami Ji, along with key contributors including Col. B.K. Mishra (Principal – School of Medical), Dr. Nayana Rao, Mr. Praveen Bist, Mr. Varunavelu, and Mr. Libin Joseph.

Volunteers actively removed litter, segregated waste, and restored cleanliness along the road, demonstrating the power of collective action. The program concluded with the message that community participation is essential to building a cleaner and healthier society.

The overwhelming response from students, faculty, and hospital staff highlighted the spirit of unity and social responsibility, making this year’s World Cleanup Day a memorable and impactful event for Amrita Hospital, Faridabad.
