A seasoned semiconductor professional with over 20 years of R&D experience, he specializes in Process Design Kits (PDK), Electronic Design Automation (EDA), and Analog & Mixed Signal (AMS) design and verification. He holds an M.Tech in VLSI Design & CAD from Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology and a B.Tech in ECE from Kurukshetra University. Currently, he serves as R&D SoC Technical Program Manager at NXP Semiconductors for the automotive business. His prior roles include leadership positions at Wipro Limited as Distinguished Member of Technical Staff, and contributions at Freescale Semiconductor, as well as experience with Cadence Design Systems, Semiconductor Complex Ltd., and Central Electronics Engineering Research Institute.
He has led multiple advanced semiconductor technology developments and AMS SoC projects, particularly in automotive microcontrollers and processors. With 22 publications in IEEE conferences, including three best paper awards, he is also an active contributor to the global research community through keynote talks, tutorials, and panel discussions. He plays a leadership role in the Northern Region Electronics Forum (NEF) in collaboration with India Electronics and Semiconductor Association and the VLSI Society of India. A Fellow of Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers and Senior Member of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, he has also served as General Chair of VLSID 2019 and received numerous awards, including the President Award in Scouts & Guides.
