Abstract : This study explores the integration of Identity and Access Management (IAM) with Blockchain technology to address shortcomings of centralized systems. The proposed method involves securely storing user identity data on authorized mobile devices, thereby enhancing privacy and giving users more control over their information. This approach represents a significant shift from traditional IAM solutions by leveraging Blockchain’s decentralized nature. The paper systematically reviews existing centralized IAM practices and highlights how Blockchain can address privacy concerns and empower users. Practical implementations include storing document photos via IPFS and recording hashes on the Blockchain, illustrating how Blockchain enhances identity management and security. In a digitally interconnected world, user ownership and control of identity data are crucial, which this decentralized model ensures. The study also outlines future research directions, including refining user permissions, exploring consensus mechanisms, and improving security, while emphasizing the need for standardization and interoperability in Block chain -based identity solutions.
