Abstract : This research work explores the potential of microgrid technology, specifically focusing on its integration with Conservation Voltage Reduction (CVR) and Electric Vehicles (EVs) to address peak load demands effectively. By integrating CVR and EVs into the microgrid framework, the study aims to create a more resilient and efficient energy system. Notably, the integration of CVR and EVs represents a significant advancement towards the realization of a smart grid infrastructure, where various components interact seamlessly to optimize energy distribution and consumption. Through the development of a robust control algorithm, the research paper demonstrates how the coordinated integration of CVR and EVs can enhance microgrid self-sufficiency while alleviating the load on inverters during periods of high-power demand. Overall, this study contributes to the growing body of research aimed at leveraging innovative technologies to create more sustainable and resilient energy systems. The control scheme is devised using MATLAB, and the outcomes are verified using the same platform.
