Abstract : This paper explores the design and simulation of the FPGA based multi-sensor health monitoring system. The design was simulated using Verilog language. The system consists of a I2C master-slave module that enables the patient to self-monitor and check in with trained healthcare professionals if any abnormality is detected. From a medical standpoint, the precision of the data, the ability to conduct accurate diagnoses, and the involvement of healthcare professionals are critical for the success of such systems. Collaboration with medical experts enhances the adoption and effectiveness of the design. The proposed system features a sensor interface for monitoring vital signs such a body temperature, oxygen level, heart rate, at the patient end, while the FPGA processes data and displays it in real time on 7-segment display or LCD. On detection of abnormality, the system triggers an alert using buzzer and transmits the critical data to clinical end via I2C protocol for professional assessment ensuring timely and accurate communication between master (patient end) and slave (clinical end)The design is implemented through simulation using model sim simulation software that uses verilog language. This modular design simplifies debugging and support scalability, allowing future enhancements. The system achieves seamless simulation results indicating the proper working of the system under different conditions. This project demonstrates the potential of FPGA technology as well as the efficiency and adaptability of I2C protocol communication for health monitoring, enhancing early detection and timely medical intervention.
