Abstract : The recognition and understanding of emotions in individuals have become increasingly important in the modern era due to the pervasive nature of online interactions. The proposed solution utilizes multiple methods to achieve more accurate emotion recognition. This approach combines facial emotion recognition, which involves using a digital camera in conjunction with a facial emotion recognition algorithm, with emotion recognition based on pupil dilation to gain a comprehensive understanding of a person’s emotional state. The facial emotion recognition system allows for tracking of macro-level emotions, while pupil tracking enables the detection and understanding of stress and anxiety in an individual. Notably, extensive research has been conducted on using pupil movement and size to infer emotional states of individuals.
