Abstract : Intra-abdominal fibromatosis is uncommon benign neoplasms which originate from musculoaponeurotic structures of the body and primarily affect the mesentery or retroperitoneum. However, rarely, they can arise from the intestinal wall and mimic gastrointestinal malignant neoplasm. A rare case of proliferative fibroblastic lesion involving the appendix and mesoappendix presenting as RIF mass with its origin, diagnosis, and differential diagnosis as a case is discussed here.
