Abstract : The fourth species of the genus Doddifoenus Bouček (Pteromalidae: Leptofoeninae), is described and illustrated from Karnataka in southern India. Doddifoenus burksi sp. n. is the first species of the genus Doddifoenus to be reported from India and also the first species of the genus with biological information - Cerambycidae (Coleoptera) as the host record. The species shares the morphological adaptations seen in hymenopteran parasitoids of endoxylous hosts. The new species is compared with all the other existing species and an updated key to the world species is provided.
