Abstract : In today's fast-paced world, digitalization is at the forefront of our daily lives. Entertainment events, such as movies, concerts, and theatre performances, have become integral to our social fabric. With the increasing reliance on digital solutions, the need for efficient, automated systems to manage these events has never been more critical. This paper presents an innovative solution to meet these demands by leveraging FPGA and Verilog HDL technologies to create an automatic movie ticket booking and cancellation system, demonstrating significant advancements in speed, reliability, and user convenience. The system features real-time booking and cancellation, high-speed transaction processing, and robust error reduction mechanisms. Through detailed simulation utilizing the ModelSim software tool, the system demonstrated significant improvements in speed and reliability compared to traditional software-based solutions. This advancement is particularly important as it meets the growing demand for automated, error-free, and rapid transaction processes in the entertainment industry. Additionally, while this paper focuses on a movie ticketing system, the underlying design is highly reconfigurable and can be adapted for various other applications, such as automated event ticketing systems, smart parking management, and secure access control systems. This flexibility showcases the potential of FPGA technology to address diverse requirements, further enhancing its applicability in different domains.
