Abstract : This paper presents a novel integrated hybrid power supply solution designed to address the concerns of the telecom industry, including rising Operational Expenditure (OPEX) and carbon emissions due to grid electricity and Diesel Generators (DG) dependency. The solution impacts renewable Wind Energy Conversion Systems (WECS) as the primary power source, supported by a secondary battery backup, to power Base Transceiver Stations (BTS). The chosen configuration employs a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generator (PMSG) with a diode bridge rectifier, known for its reliability and cost-effectiveness. To optimize wind energy capture from varying wind speeds cost-effectively and ensure practical implementation, a hysteresis voltage controller-based buck converter was developed. This controller is notable for its simplicity, affordability in design and implementation, and robust performance against disturbances from both the wind source and load variations. Comprehensive simulations are conducted using the MATLAB Simulink environment to validate the hysteresis voltage controller's performance in providing power to telecom towers via a PMSG-based system. Additionally, a laboratory prototype capable of delivering
