Abstract : In an ever-evolving digital environment, prioritizing user security and authentication processes is critical. It presents a comprehensive approach to creating a secure login page using SSL/TLS certificates. We focus on ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of usernames during transmission. Our system consists of a well-thought-out user interface and background architecture, where the focus is on creating a secure communication between the client and server with SSL/TLS certificates. Developed using Node.js and Express, the backend follows best practices for password hashing, user authentication, and secure session management. Safe coding practices are built into the HTML and JavaScript interface to reduce common web vulnerabilities. SSL/TLS certificates play a key role in protecting transmitted data, preventing unauthorized access and protecting against accidental attacks. It describes the steps to obtain, install, and configure SSL/TLS certificates on a web server and emphasizes the use of HTTPS to protect sensitive data. In addition to SSL/TLS certificates, our system includes additional security measures. These include strong password management techniques, protections against common network attacks such as SQL injection and cross-site scripting (XSS), and the implementation of HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS) to improve overall security. At the end of the document, the importance of regular system updates and monitoring is emphasized in combating new security threats. By following these guidelines, web developers and security professionals can help create flexible and secure login forms, ultimately contributing to a safer online environment for users.
