Abstract : The integration of Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) communication technology in optimizing emergency route planning for efficient response to critical situations involves leveraging real-time data exchange among vehicles to identify and prioritize emergency routes, minimize response times, and coordinate traffic flow during emergencies. By leveraging real-time data exchange capabilities, emergency vehicles can communicate with each other and with surrounding vehicles to dynamically adjust routes, ensuring swift and safe navigation through traffic. By minimizing delays, prioritizing the most efficient routes, and intelligently coordinating vehicle movements, the proposed sys-tem seeks to improve emergency response times. Emergency services can achieve improved situational awareness and response agility, ultimately enhancing public safety and well-being by using the V2V communication protocols LoRa modules and route optimization algorithms. This work involves a complete structure for V2V communication-assisted emergency route optimization using Open Route Service outlining its potential benefits, technological requirements, and future directions for implementation and advancement
