The Library of the Amrita School of Engineering which was established in the year 2002, serves as knowledge hub containing resources not only in the form of print but also in e-resources. In any academic institution Library plays an important role in the dissemination of knowledge. Amrita School of Engineering Bangalore, less than 7 years old, has recognized the importance of the academic vibrations required in the library and has been growing in this direction, right from its very inception.
Design, setting up and maintenance of all computer laboratories are done by the ICTS department. ICTS identifies all the software requirements for various computer labs and install them. The upkeep of all computers is also done by the department. The minimum configuration of the computer starts with Pentium IV. Currently the campus has a total number of 593 computers.
Separate hostel facilities are provided for girls and boys. Their stay in the hostel enables them to imbibe a holistic lifestyle with activities like yoga, sports and extra-curricular activities. There are six hostels in the campus which accommodate above 3500 inmates. Students seeking admission to the hostel have to apply separately in the prescribed application form..»»
