Departmental Scope & Services

The Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, offers diagnosis & treatment of various gynaecological diseases and world class antenatal care.

As part of one of India’s largest quaternary care hospitals, PGs will have exposure to wide and rich case mix, including:

  • High-risk obstetrics, medical disorders in pregnancy, preterm care, and critical obstetric emergencies
  • Dedicated exposure to Fetal medicine, infertility, and ultrasonography
  • Large well-equipped labour room with 24×7 high-risk referrals, ensuring hands-on practical training
  • Inpatient and day-care setups for comprehensive obstetric and gynaecologic care
  • Full spectrum gynaecology: benign gynaecology, minimally invasive surgery, gynaecologic oncology, pelvic floor disorders
  • Department is equipped with advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgical services.

Infrastructure & Procedural Facilities

Amrita Hospital, Faridabad is a 2600+ bed state-of-the-art quaternary care centre.

  • Hospital is equipped with quaternary level labour room with dedicated areas for antenatal assessment, active labour management, multiple delivery suites and high-risk obstetric care. Labour room is supported by blood bank services, anaesthesia coverage, and intensive care backup for maternal emergencies such as PPH, eclampsia, and sepsis.
  • Advanced NICU, MICU, SICU, and multidisciplinary support
