A student team, Team EXALTERS, from the Department of Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore campus, won the Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) EngiNX Challenge 2019.
In yet another successful demonstration of the innovation ecosystem at Amrita, student teams, ‘Unorthodox Inc’ and ‘Yorkers’ from the School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore campus, have made a mark in international hackathons and secured top ranks. Unorthodox Inc. was ranked in the top 25 out of 10,000 teams worldwide in the 7th edition of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) EngiNX 2019 engineering design & innovation contest.
Dr. Shriram K. Vasudevan, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore campus, was awarded “Top Innovator” at Intel SA and Innovator Summit – 2019 held at Bengaluru, from June 13-15, 2019.

With great fanfare, the School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore campus, has conducted the 9th edition of its flagship Techfest, Anokha 2019 from 14th to 16th February, 2019.
The ‘Team Vision’ and ‘Team Exalt’, two student hackathon teams from the School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore campus, showcased outstanding performances and secured a prominent position among top 20 teams that represented India, in the 30 hour Singapore-India Hackathon 2018.
