Bio

Dr. Nanda Gopal Biswas currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the department of Amrita Darshanam, Amrita School of Computing, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Nagercoil Campus. He believes in the philosophy that education brings positive change in human behaviour  and society.  Dr. Biswas received his Ph.D. degree from Indian Institute of Technology, Dhanbad, and qualified UGC NET and SET in philosophy. His areas of interest are Indian philosophy, IKS, and sustainable development. In 2024 he has published a book on Bioethics and a book chapter entitled Buddhism in Bangladesh. His research works includes publication of research papers in Scopus, and UGC listed journals; and more than 10 papers presented at various national and international conferences, and seminars. He organized various national seminars and workshops with the financial help of ICPR, New Delhi. He is a reviewer of the journal of technology and innovative research (ISSN: 2349-5162), member of the Indian philosophy network (IPN), member of philosophical practitioner’s association of India (PPAI), and life member of Indian philosophical congress (IPC).
