general rules

The following rules and regulations are established to ensure fairness, transparency, discipline, and the smooth conduct of all events under Sathgamaya 2026. All participants are required to strictly adhere to these guidelines.

  • Participation is strictly limited to students currently enrolled in First Grade Colleges
  • Students from Pre-University (PU) Colleges, Engineering Institutions, or any institutions other than First Grade Colleges are not permitted to participate.  
  • All participants must carry a valid institutional ID card at all times during the event. 
  • The ID card must be presented upon request by the organizing committee. Failure to produce a valid ID card shall result in immediate disqualification. 
  • Participants must complete the official registration process as prescribed for each event. 
  • The registration fee, once paid, is non-refundable under any circumstances, including withdrawal, absenteeism, disqualification, or event modification. 
  • The minimum and maximum number of participants per team, as specified in the respective event guidelines, shall be strictly enforced.  
  • Any number of teams from a college can register for an event. 
  • All payments must be made through the payment link on the website. 
  • Participants must adhere strictly to the event schedule. Late reporting for any round may result in forfeiture of participation. 
  • Certain events may comprise multiple rounds, elimination stages, or evaluation components as specified in their respective guidelines. 
  • In the event of any discrepancy during the conduct of a round, the decision of the Organising Committee shall be final, binding, and not subject to appeal
  • The decisions of the judges about evaluation, scoring, rankings, or advancement to subsequent rounds shall be final, binding and conclusive. 
  • The Organizing Committee reserves the right to modify event schedules, venues, formats, or rules in the interest of smooth execution and fairness. 
  • Any act of misconduct, malpractice, misrepresentation, use of unfair means, indiscipline, or violation of event guidelines shall lead to immediate disqualification of the individual or team. 
  • The consumption, possession, or use of alcohol, tobacco, or any prohibited substances is strictly prohibited 
  • The Organizing Committee reserves the right to initiate further disciplinary measures if deemed necessary. 
  • All participants are expected to maintain exemplary conduct, discipline, and respect toward organizers, judges, fellow participants, and institutional property.
