Bio

Dr. Anjali Patel is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the Amrita School of Artificial Intelligence, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Bengaluru. She holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics (2024) and an M.Sc. in Mathematics (2018), both from the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Silchar, Assam, India.

She previously worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Amrita School of Computing, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Bengaluru, where she was engaged in advanced research for 15 months. Her research interests include distance and similarity measures for fuzzy and extended fuzzy sets, image processing, data clustering, and multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM).

Dr. Patel has published several research articles in peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings. She has served as a reviewer for reputed journals such as Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence and the International Journal of Fuzzy Systems. She has also contributed to the academic community as a panel chair and co-chair at various national and international conferences.
