Bio

Dr. Nanda Gopal Biswas currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of AI, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Faridabad Campus. He believes in the philosophy that education brings positive change in human behavior and society. Dr. Biswas received his Ph.D. degree in Philosophy from the Indian Institute of Technology, Dhanbad, and qualified UGC NET and SET in Philosophy.

He works primarily on Sāṁkhya Darśana (Samkhya Philosophy), and his area of research interest is Bhāratīya Darśana (Indian Philosophy), especially interested in the ancient Indian knowledge system , consciousness, and the physical world .

In 2024, he published a book on bioethics and a chapter entitled Buddhism in Bangladesh. His research work includes publication of research papers in Scopus and UGC listed journals, and research papers presented at various national and international conferences.

He organized various national seminars and workshops with the financial help of ICPR, New Delhi. He is a reviewer of the Journal of Technology and Innovative Research (ISSN: 2349-5162), a member of the Indian Philosophy Network, a member of the Philosophical Practitioners’ Association of India , and a life member of the Indian Philosophical Congress .
