Dr. Vivek S. is an accomplished academician and social work practitioner with over a decade of dedicated service at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. Since joining the institution in 2012, he has been serving as an Assistant Professor (Sr. Gd.) in the Department of Social Sciences, School of Social and Behavioral Sciences at the Amritapuri campus.
With a strong commitment to advancing social work education and practice, his research focuses on Education, Social Work Education, Community Engagement, Spirituality in Social Work, IKS and the Indianisation of Social Work Practice. His teaching experience encompasses critical areas including Rural and Urban Development, Community Organisation and Social Action, Good Governance, Project Planning and Management, Sustainability and Values & Ethics in Social Work Practice.
