Job description

  • The Postdoctoral Fellow will contribute to the design and development of a Trustworthy AI-driven framework for enhancing the security and resilience of Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS).

  • The research focuses on integrating advanced Computer Vision, Artificial Intelligence, and Cyber Security techniques to detect, predict, and mitigate cyber threats in smart environments such as Smart Cities, Industrial IoT, Healthcare Systems, and Critical Infrastructure.

  • The selected candidate will conduct cutting-edge research, publish in high-impact journals, assist in project management, mentor student researchers, and contribute to proposal writing for future research funding.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct advanced research in AI, Computer Vision, and Cyber Security.

  • Develop novel deep learning models for threat detection and anomaly identification in CPS environments.

  • Design explainable and trustworthy AI systems for security-critical applications.

  • Investigate adversarial attacks and defense mechanisms in AI-based vision systems.

  • Develop real-time monitoring and surveillance solutions using Computer Vision techniques

Desirable Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Machine Learning and Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security and Neural Networks.

  • Hands on Experience in Python programming, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, OpenCV, Scikit-learn and CUDA/GPU computing. 

  • Knowledge of Explainable AI (XAI), Federated Learning, Generative AI and Large Language Models, Agentic AI, Edge AI and Cyber Threat Intelligence.
