Project Overview

• The selected candidate will contribute to research aimed at improving the understanding of groundwater resources in India using data from the Central Ground Water Board (CGWB), field surveys, and geophysical observations.


• The project will also explore AI-driven approaches to assess the availability and sustainability of groundwater and renewable energy resources for irrigation.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze groundwater datasets, including CGWB data.


• Conduct field surveys and support geophysical investigations.


• Develop geospatial and AI-based solutions for groundwater and renewable energy assessment.


• Perform data analysis, visualisation, and scientific documentation.


• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams from India and Germany.


• Assist in preparing technical reports, research publications, and project deliverables.
