Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham’s Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) supports several universities and autonomous higher educational institutions pan-India regarding knowledge exchange, academic audit, participation in various academic and administrative committees such as IQAC, Board of Studies, and academic advisory committees, and hosting academic delegations that visit the campus to study the university’s best practices. As part of this IQAC mentoring program, Dr. Prashant R. Nair, Associate Director – IQAC, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore:
- Addressed an AICTE Training & Learning Academy (ATAL) sponsored FDP on the topic, “NEP2020 & Stress Management” at Hindustan Institute of Technology, Coimbatore, on 14 November 2025. 60+ participants from various colleges attended the FDP session.
- Physically participated in the 12th Board of Studies of Departments of Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) and Information Technology (IT) of Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology (SRIT), Coimbatore, on 15 November 2025. The BoS approved the changes in syllabi and regulations for B.E. CSE and B.Tech IT programs. Dr. M. Suresh Kumar, HOD-CSE, and Dr. J.J. Adri Jovin, HOD-IT of SRIT, presented the curriculum and syllabus of their respective programs.
- Hosted and interacted with Dr. N. Karthikeyan, Director-IQAC, Sharda University, Greater Noida, UP, who visited the AMRITA Coimbatore campus on 27 October 2025, for an academic interaction focusing on quality initiatives and understanding best practices in accreditations and rankings of AMRITA.
