Amrita School of Business, Coimbatore Celebrated Amritavarsham 72

As part of Amritavarsham 72, celebrating the 72nd Birthday of our beloved Chancellor, Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore, organized a seed ball-making initiative. Rooted in the values of compassion, service, and sustainability, students from the Amrita School of Business, Coimbatore actively participated in the activity, embracing Amma’s vision and spreading the message of sustainability and environmental care.

ASB, Coimbatore, also observed World Cleanup Day 2025 through a collaborative initiative with Namma Navakkarai, a local NGO. n line with UNESCO’s sustainability goals and Amma’s Amala Bharatam Campaign, launched in 2010 to promote environmental responsibility, public hygiene, and civic awareness, a cleanup drive was organized along the railway tracks in the Navakkarai region. Faculty, staff, and students of ASB joined hands with NGO volunteers and the Forest Department officials of the Madukkarai Division to carry out the initiative. The team meticulously cleaned the railway track surroundings and successfully collected 13 bags of waste, making a meaningful contribution to environmental preservation and community well-being.

This initiative not only encouraged active community participation but also reaffirmed ASB’s commitment to sustainability and its role in nurturing socially responsible citizens.
