Amrita School of Medicine, Faridabad Campus, welcomed 133 Foreign Medical Graduate Interns from various East European countries as part of the Compulsory Rotating Medical Internship (CRMI), mandated by the National Medical Council (NMC). This one-year internship program aims to provide these international students with hands-on clinical experience while fostering a global exchange of medical knowledge and practices.
The inaugural session for the interns was held at the Amrita School of Medicine, where they were warmly welcomed by Dr. Sanjeev Singh, Medical Director, Amrita Hospital, Faridabad along with Col. B.K. Mishra, Principal, School of Medicine and the Heads of the respective departments.
During the orientation, the interns were briefed on key aspects of their internship, including the Amrita ethos, emphasizing values of compassionate healthcare and ethical medical practice, their roles and responsibilities as interns within the hospital system and expectations regarding conduct, learning, and service throughout their tenure.
