Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham has joined hands with global bearing leader SKF to drive cutting-edge research and advanced technological innovations. The collaboration aims not only to achieve key research milestones but also to accelerate the development of sustainable, future-ready “Made in India” solutions.
The initiative is led by Dr. Shubrajit Bhaumik, Associate Professor and Centre Head of the industry-supported Tribology and Interactive Surfaces Research Laboratory (TRISUL), a passionate tribologist committed to advancing the field of tribology.
The partnership was formally signed by Mr. Sanoj Somasundaran, Director – Technology Development, ISEA, in the august presence of Mr. Arnoud Reininga, Global Head – Research & Technology, SKF; Dr. Shubrajit Bhaumik; and Cmde R. Ravishankar R, Addl. Director – Corporate & Industry Relations, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Chennai.
