Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Kochi Campus Celebrates 477 Graduands at 27th Convocation Day

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Kochi Campus, celebrated its 27th Convocation, marking the culmination of years of dedication, hard work, and learning. The ceremony was graced by the Hon’ble Governor of Kerala, Sri Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar, who inspired the graduands to pursue excellence while embracing wisdom, compassion, and social responsibility.

A total of 477 students were awarded degrees across various programs. Among them, 27 students were recognized as rank holders for their outstanding academic performance, and 14 research scholars received their doctoral degrees for significant contributions in their respective fields.

The convocation was held with the blessings of Sampujya Swami Purnamritananda Puri, General Secretary of Mata Amritanandamayi Math, whose guidance encouraged the graduates to carry forward the values of knowledge, service, and humanity.

The event featured an academic procession, Amma’s message, and addresses by distinguished dignitaries including Dr. P. Ajithkumar, Registrar; Dr. Shantikumar Nair, Associate Provost (Academics); Dr. U. Krishnakumar, Dean and Director; Dr. P. Krishnakumar, Controller of Examinations; Dr. P. Balasubramanian, PGP Chair & Vice Principal; and Sri K. Sreekumar, Deputy Controller of Examinations.

Graduands received their degrees, Ph.D. certificates, rank awards, and medals, accompanied by the chanting of the Shikshavalli from the Taittiriya Upanishad. The day was a grand celebration of achievement, knowledge, and inspiration, marking the beginning of a new chapter of success for Amrita’s students.
